Please see notes for additional information.
Page 16 shows a photograph on the grounds at Manheim (Germantown Cricket Club). This photograph shows a young girl standing in the doorway of a building at Manheim. The girl is dressed in an ankle length floral print dress and is wearing a bonnet tied under the chin. Her shoes are laced with cross straps. She is standing on a step just forward of the door jamb. A plaque is affixed to the stucco wall just to her left, but the inscription on the plaque cannot be read. On the left side of the entrance is a ladder-back chair, and to the left of the chair is a bench upon which rests a "folding" oval topped table. To the right of the entrance isa table upon which are candlesticks and candlestands. Beyond the young girl, looking into the room, are barely visible what appear to be further "artifacts". All of the items seen in the photograph apear to be tagged - as if for sale.Photograph Details
