Page 49 shows a photograph on the grounds at Manheim (Germantown Cricket Club). The photograph shows a woman dressed in period costume standing in the garden area at Manheim. The woman is wearing an ankle length floral print dress gathered with fabric under the bodice. The dress sleeves are short and she is wearing a bonnet tied under the chin with a long fabric strap. Some flowers are affixed immediatley below the bonnet line. Her shoes are tied with cross straps.
She is standing on a garden path next to a flowering garden bed. Behind her is an elaborate stone base upon which rests a sundial. In the background is the roof line of a building and another building is somewhat visible in the left background. Shrubs, trees and vegetation are visible throughout the garden area.Photograph Details
