Page 60 shows a photograph on the grounds at Manheim (Germantown Cricket Club). The photograph shows a woman and young girl in period costume standing in a garden area at Manheim. Both are dressed in full length dresses. The young girl (positioned in front of the woman) is wearing a light colored dress with a frilled collar, a cloth bonnet and carrying a small purse. Behind her, the woman is wearing a light colored dress with three dark fabric bands visible in the skirt. She is also wearing a dark apron which seems to tie at the shoulders and has three decorative buttons at the top. She is wearing a brooch at the top of the dress bodice and a lace bonnet/cap.
Both appear to be standing in front of a grove of vegetation, although the background is quite dark and difficult to discerne exactly.
Behind them is a porch with three columns and a door (only the left hand side of the door is visible). Some ivy is seen growing up one of the columns. Both young women are standing on grass in front of the porch.Photograph Details
