Page 65 shows a photograph on the grounds at Manheim (Germantown Cricket Club). The photograph shows a woman dressed in period costume in a garden area at Manheim. The woman is reclining (most likely on a stool/chair) and is dressed in a long formal, full-length dress with a semi-layered skirt. A floral sprig is attached to the bodice of the dress. She is wearing a necklace and clutching a purse in her gloved hands. The purse is on her lap. She is also wearing a dark lace shawl which is draped about her shoulders and falls to her waist. She wears no head covering; however, a row of curls is visible below her left ear.
Behind her is an open porch with double interior doors. The double exterior doors are open and drawn back to reveal the interior doors (closed and curtain lined). A ladder back chair has been placed on the porch and ivy grows on a porch column.Photograph Details
