Page 72 shows a photograph on the grounds at Manheim (Germantown Cricket Club) of a young woman dressed in a light-colored, print, full length period dress gathered above the waist. The top bodice of the dress is somewhat "ruffled" and the dress sleeves are short. A single flower is affixed to the top of the dress at the neckline. She is wearing a single strand necklace and a "fancy" bonnet made of the same material as her dress. The bonnet is adorned with a small floral arrangement. A single long roll of curls cascades down her left shoulder onto the bodiuce of her dress. She is carrying a handbag affixed to her right wrist and also wearing white shoes. Her gaze is directed to her left in the photograph.
She is standing in an open area directly in front of a brick wall covered with vegetation. In the background can be seen the tops of mature trees.Photograph Details
