Please see notes for additional information.
Page 77 shows a photograph on the grounds at Manheim (Germantown Cricket Club) of a "display" of a carefully crafted three story house in "reduced" scale. This house is set upon a platform covered with a tarp. The house is crafted to resemble a three story stone residence with two dormer windows built into the third story roof line. A pent eave has been built to encompass the space above the first story on three sides of the house. A three story smaller structure extends beyond the "main house". Curtains have been aded to the insides of all the windows to replicate a residence. Fencing, arbors and some trellis work have been added to the display , along with landscaping to reproduce as authentic a scene as possible.
This display sits in an open area. In the background are the tops of mature trees and other vegetation.Photograph Details
