Tabletop nutcracker composed of rectangular wooden base and two-part moveable iron element. Iron element has overall coating of black paint. One component of this is affixed to wooden base by means of three large screws, another iron component with long handle is attached to immoveable component with two rivets and a thick spring. Each part has a horizontal element on the PR side which forms a space for the nut, when handle is pressed, space compresses to crack the nut shell.
