Black and white print of clock tower on the George W. Carpenter estate, "Phil-Ellena," at Germantown Avenue and Phil-Ellena St. This is the image of 2010.375.3.1 on a postcard. A note is glued to the card, "This clock tower was located at the upper end of the property and was somewhat of a landmark and while the mansion disappeared in 1893, it was not until 1902 that this clock tower was torn down. A clock face which was on this tower is on exhibit in the Germantown Historical Society's Museum."Photograph Details
