Enclosed in a red protective hard cover box are 14 paper-bound journals containing the Index to Volume 1 and Publications Numbers 1 through 13. A series of "Papers" read before The City History Society of Philadelphia by various authors from 1906 through 1915. This is actually a duplicate of a hard bound book of the same title found at C-1,19 (2014.28.743). That book is a hard bound copy of this book which is a collection of journals which are individually soft-bound. Volume 2 of this series can be found at C-1, 19, volume 2 (2014.28.745).
