Cast iron, C-clamp-like base, wing knob screw, flat slightly flanged recieving pan, screwed to top of clamp. Slight .625 inch notch in 5 inch pan, probably for juice collection/overflow. Also an inverted U-type construction at right angles to pan into which a moveable plunger is inserted, spring action on H-shaped piece at its base, pierces the cherry.
