Description

Rounded corner rectangular platter. Pearlware with cobalt-blue over molded feather edge and over molded flowers on rim. This platter was likely made for the marriage of John Laubach (1728-1808) and Catherine Schuhmanns (1733-1798). Labels: on bottom face, in blue - "JOHANNIS AND KATHARINA LAUBACH / 1748"; on base - "CREAMWARE 1820 STAFFORDSHIRE"
