Print, black ink on white paper of "The Thomas Mill Bridges", under glass, with black painted metal frame, trimmed with narrow gold stripe. Below graphic sketch of the following:
"This completely restored wooden country covered bridge is in the Wissahickon Valley. The site of the Barge's Grist Mill is nearby. Margennins [?] and mills, now gone, leave faint reminders, buried in the banks of the creek- of a time when this bridge helped the traveler on his way to Philadelphia City by way of Chestnut Hill. The bridge is at the Thomas Hill Road, just off Chestnut Hill Avenue.Artwork Details
