The report then notes "As we approach the close of a year of work among the foreign-born on the east side of Germantown, the Americanization Committee believes that a statement of the work will be welcomed by those who have generously given of their time and means to assist in this problem. Under the able management of Miss Grace Yardley, the director, the following activities have been organized and are being developed as means and workers are available: Cooking and Sewing Classes, A Library and Story Hour, Two Boys' Clubs, Boy and Girl Scouts, English Classes for Men." The report then continues with a discussion of other activities, with an inducement to readers to become members of the Committee. Board members listed include Mrs. Edward V. Kane [Chair], Mrs. E. Wheeler Jenkins [Vice Chair], Mrs. Robert P. Newbern [Secretary], and Mrs. Walter P. Miller [Treasurer]. The report includes a statement of income and expenditures, May 1920 to March 14th, 1921. Inside the back cover, the Women's Club of Germantown, the Germantown Chapter of the D. A.
