Twelve embroidery pieces by Mary Emma Maris Boggs done prior to 1920.
A. Rectangular shape, embroidered strawberry motigs, with shades of red, pink and green. Hem stitched border. Some stains of a light brown color.
B. Rectangular shape, embroidered pansy flowers; colors are shades of pink, purple, yellow, white , with green stems. Hem stitched border. There is a light brown stain near the center. Fold marks are visible.
C. Square piece with flowers and leaves, colors are pale shades of pink, green, white, rose. There is a hem stitch and drawn thread borders. A light brown watermark near the edge of the piece.
D. Circular piece, embroidered flowers, roses with leaves and stems; colors are pale shades pink, white and green. Edges are scalloped and some of the leaves and roses go out to the edges of the piece. Edges are slightly dirty.
E. Four small circular pieces, each has embroidered flowers with the colors of shades of purple, green, white- flowers are lilies, violets, holly with leaves and stems.
F. Four small square pieces, each with hemstitch border and embroidered flowers; viiolets, black-eyed susans, buttercups, pink flowers.
