Pieced quilt in the bars pattern. Material is very old. Quilt if comprised of thirteen rows alternationg rows of printed material and plain material. The outer rows are printed brown fabric 10" and 9" wide. The plain rows vary in width from 41/2" to 5" wide. There is no binding on the quilt. The plain material has raised threads to create a pattern; it is in good condition. The printed material has faded and in some areas the brown dye has caused the material to disintegrate. The printed material is also pieced together to form the long rows. The quilting is on a diagonal grid pattern, done very simply and crude.
