Sampler made by Leah Yeakle, sewn on fine linen. Silk thread may have been used. Border on three sides, triangular flowers and buds with leaves. Two groups of flowers at the top, with the sewer's name underneath. Trees with yellow fruit boarder the name. Birds in the trees. No bottom border. Colors used: green, pink, yellow, brown, blue. In the center of the sampler is "Leah Yeakles Neadle (sic) work 1827."Dimensions
