This photograph was taken against the backdrop of Devil's Pool, near the confluence of Cresheim Creek and Wissahickon Creek in the Wissahickon Valley. The old pavilion at Devil's Pool is visible in the upper left corner of the photograph. It fell into an advanced state of decay and was demolished many years ago.
