Photograph a: is a photograph of Loudon, located at 4650 Germantown Avenue. The photograph shows a side view of Loudon taken from a brick "terrace" somewhat below "grade" level showing a portion of the main entrance with four two-story columns, resting on wooden steps. There are additional stone steps and a stone wall (not previously visible in catalog number 2013.5.1.56a) leading down to a brick paved terrace. At "terrace" level are two doors below the enclosed porch, possibly leading to a basement storage space(?). Also, more visible in this photograph are numerous utility poles and wires and a portion of another house adjacent to Loudon. Also visible in the background is a tall stack of a distant "factory building"(?).Photograph Details
