Description

Black and white photgraph of steam plant at Hortter and Pelham streets. Notes on the back indicate that the plant was built about 1885, was used to heat the Pelham Road area, that Charles Sevgesen lived across the street, and (incorrectly) that it was located at Horter and Phil Elina [sic] streets and was replaced by a shopping center. The rear is stamped with stamps of Joseph Morsello, commercial photographer, 869 East Price Street, and of the Germantown Courier.
