Clippings and memorabilia from World War I scrapbook compiled by Dr. Naaman H. Keyser, page 73.
Attached to page 73 is a copy of the October, 1918 edition of The Parish Visitor, which was issued by the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Germantown. The opening article, "From Day to Day," begins with "No apology is offered for giving up so large a part of this issue of the Parish Visitor to letters from our Boys on the other side. Our only regret is that the letters cannot be printed in full, but give a vivid picture of the varied experiences through which the Boys are passing." The newsletter then continues with wedding announcements, and an memorial to Stanley Berry, who was enlisted in the United States Field Artillery, and killed in action in France. On the back page of this publication are excerpts from letters from boys overseas, including those of Sergeant Ralph Barber, Charles A. Vaughan, Walter Raleigh Cliffe, Edward R. Buchanan, Charles Bechtle, Stewart R. Unkles, Joseph H. Miller, Roy Ziegler, and Arthur Vennick.
