The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 1, Part 2- The Wissahickon
Page 124 contains two newspaper photograph renditions:
(a) This photographic rendition is entitled "Looking Toward the Ridge Road". The Wissahickon creek is seen in the foreground and the Wissahickon Drive can be glimpsed behind the wooden fence lining the opposite creek bank. The Ridge Road is actually not visible in this rendition but would be reached by continuing along the Wissahickon Drive to the right in this photograph.
(b) This photograph shows a path in the Wissahickon with the creek barely visible through a break in the trees on the right. In the center of the photograph is visible a man walking along the path which bends to the right. However, another path is also visible to the left in the photograph. The trees display much foliage suggesting the season may be Summer. The path shows evidence of wagon tracks suggesting previous traffic.Collection
