The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 1, Part 2- The Wissahickon
Page 127 contains a photograph with a label: "Drive Widened Here, 1953". Underneath the photograph, Jellett has written: "Wissahickon Drive, immediately above Reading R.R. Bridge."
The photograph shows the Wissahickon Drive in the foreground winding in a serpentine fashion as it recedes in the distance. A simple wooden fence can be seen along one edge of the Drive on the left and rock formations line the Drive on the right. A utility pole is prominent in the left mid-foreground and much foliage is visible.Collection
