The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 1- The Wissahickon
Page 10 contains a handwritten list attached to a plain piece of white lined note paper. Beside the list is handwritten the word: wissahickon.
The list is titled: wissahickon notes and is date 3-18-1894. Under the main title is a sub-title: Guard Boxes.
1. Box at Ridge Road & Wissahickon Drive.
2. Box at Rittenhouse Street Bridge.
3. Box at Old Red Bridge.
4. Box at Kitchen Lane.
5. Box 330' above Allen lane.
6. Box at Livezey Lane.
7. Magargee's Mill Office.
At the bottom of the list the word "Guards" can be discerned. There is a word beside "Guards" which is unclear. Underneath appears to be a listing of guard names; however, a deciphering of those names is difficult and will not be undertaken.Collection
