Page 138 contains a photograph that has a typed caption of "Near 'Dead Man's Bend' looking south." The photograph taken from a bank of the Wissahickon creek shows the creek in the foreground and distance. At the far left, above a stone wall is a wooden fence which borders the creek edge of the bridle-path. In the foreground, along the bank edge is visible a man standing and looking at the creek.
