Page 140 contains a newspaper clipping entitled "In the Gay Nineties" by E. R. Mustin. Neither the date this was published nor the newspaper of origin are attributed. He recalls the Riverside Mansion (along the Schuylkill at the mouth of the Wissahickon) as a most popular tourist attraction. At that time, steamboat excursions from Fairmount to Riverside were popular and brough large crowds to Riverside.
