The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 1, Part 2- The Wissahickon
Page 147 contains two photographs of a scene on the Wissahickon.
(a, top) This photograph shows a number of rowboats tied up at a dock along the Wissahickon. The Wissahickon can be seen receeding into the distance between both banks. Whether the view is looking North or South cannot be determined.
(b, bottom) This photograph appears to have been taken from a high point looking down on the Wissahickon showing a number of small boats tied up at a dockon the left. This shoreline appears to graduate from low to high (in the foreground) with some rocky features. To the right in the photograph are two additional boats with a person visible in the boat in the foreground. It appears that the Wissahickon curves to the left just beyond this dock and both banks are visible. A tall tree line appears visible in the far distance. Whether the view is looking North or South cannot be determined.
Under both of these photographs Jellett has inscribed: "12. F. McCann and the date 2-16-1905 (a) and 2-17-1905 (b)."Collection
