The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 1, Part 2- The Wissahickon
Page 194 contains a newspaper clipping of an article entitled "City Council Unit Approves Extending Henry Av. to Ridge". A pencil notation at the top of the article is listed as 2-24-55. The article focuses on the City Council project to extend Henry Avenue from Roxborough Avenue to Ridge Avenue in Upper Roxborough at a cost of 4 million dollars.
It would appear that this article has been improperly inserted in this page and in this scrapbook because it extends beyond the dates listed in this scrapbook (1994 thru 1925) and clearly extends beyons the original boundaries of this volume (the mouth of the Wissahickon to Rittenhouse Street).Collection
