The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 3 -The Wissahickon
Page 47 contains a photocopied page containing various examples of watermarks. The page is folded in half and the blank (reverse side) contains the following pencil notation: "Rittenhouse paper mills water marks from James F. Magee, Jr. March, 1936."
When the page is fully opened, the various water marks can be viewed, along with two photographs and a small article regarding the Rittenhouse paper mill. Drawings of the various water marks are accompanied by notations explaining the name of the paper maker using that mark and the dates the mark was used.Collection
