Page 54 contains two photographs:
(a, top) This photograph is labeled "The Settlement of Germantown: Rittenhouse Paper Mill, Birthplace of David Rittenhouse." The photograph shows the stone dwelling of David Rittenhouse's birthplace. The dwelling has been previously described (see scrapbook page 41, [2013.34.3.41]).
(b, bottom) This photograph (actually a post card) is labeled "Philadelphia, Rittenhouse House, Germantown - Where First Clock Was Made." This photograph shows a view oif the rear facade of the David Rittenhouse birthplace. The stone dwelling has previously been described (see scrapbook page 40 [2013.34.3.40]).Collection
