Page 87 contains a newspaper clipping without a heading/title. At the top of this article has been placed an illustration depicting the Rittenhouse Homestead. The article describes an excursion to historic spots on the Wissahickon by members of the City History Club and The Teachers' Photographic Society. The large group began the tour at the David Rittenhouse birthplace with a detailed description of the buildings and the genealogy of the Rittenhouse family. The group then proceeded to The Monastery on Kitchen's Lane where a detailed description of the history of the building and of John Kelpius and his followers was given.Collection
