The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 3 -The Wissahickon
Page 137 contains a newspaper article (with a photograph) entitled "Keep Heavy Traffic Off A Park Bridge". The article reports that heavy traffic (trucks and other vehicles weighing over two tons) has been banned from the Walnut Street Bridge due to the bridge being partially condemned. A watchman has been posted at each end of the bridge to enforce the ban. The photograph with the article is an exact reproduction of the photograph found in this scrapbook on page 135 (see 2013.34.3.135).Collection
