Page 10 contains a newspaper clipping of a photograph of The Monastery with the following caption: "The Monastery on Wissahickon Drive as it appeared in 1897 before it was remodeled. Contributed by Franklin D. Edmunds, 1603 Real Estate Trust Building. Sedn us your old Philadelphia photographs." The photograph shows the Monastery with windows on the second story appearing to be boarded up. Landscaping also appears to be untended.Collection
