The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 5 -The Wissahickon
Page 15 contains a newspaper clipping headed "A Tale of Two Centuries". The reverse side contains Jellett's handwriting dating the article as 3-2-1902. This article (similar to previous newspaper clippings assembled by Jellett) recounts the history of the Monastery (both the building itself, the site and the individuals associated with it over the centuries). The author begins the article with mention of the Monastery "Golf Club". The author uses this context to describe a detailed telling of the history and usage of the property.
