Page 16 contains a printed pamphlet entitled "Old Germantown" and is marked as number 10 of a series. The pamphlet is printed by the Germantown Trust Company and is entitled "The Monastery - 1756". The date of the pamphlet is unknown. The text presents a brief history of the building. Above the text is a drawing of the building known as The Monastery. The extent of the series of pamphlets and additional subject matter are unknown. The pamphlet is partially attached to the scrapbook page. It is possible to lift the bottom of the page and discern typed text on the reverse side. However, the reverse side text simply describes various banking services available at the Germantown Trust Company, and sheds no light upon other pamphlets in this series.Collection
