Page 73 contains:
(a, top) A postcard photograph which identifies it as "A 318, Indian Rock Hotel, Philadelphia, Pa.". The typed label underneath the photograph reads "Second Indian Rock Hotel, at Monastery Avenue. The photograph shows a three story building, with a porch at both the first and second story levels. To the left of the building, the porch only emcompasses the first story level. A man in a horse drawn carriage can be seen in the left foreground. A sign to the right identifies the building as the Indian Rock Hotel. On the right, mounted on the roof of the second story porch is a large "display". Even with magnification, this display cannot be positively identified.
(b, bottom) A short newspaper clipping which relates the unknown author's travels within the Wissahickon Valley from "Toleration Rock" to a place beyond the Monastery which contains a beautiful hemlock wood which the author has named "The Gloaming" which he likes to frequent at night for the mystery and glamour it produces for him.Collection
