The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 5 -The Wissahickon
Page 78 contains an illustration identified as "Bridge Over Wissahickon, Near Mt. Airy". In the top, left corner of the paper to which this illustration is affixed, in Jellett's handwriting, is the notation "Livezey's Lane". The illustration shows a man standing on the banks of the Wissahickon with the bridge seen in the distance spanning the creek. Rocks, trees and vegetation line both sides of the creek and a tall canopy of trees is seen behind the bridge. In the illustration, a stone pillar located in the middle of the creek bed supports the bridge span. Each end of the span is connected to a stone supporting wall. Beyond the bridge, the creek cascades over a wall to the creek bed below.Collection
