Where Gorgas Run crosses Gorgas Lane, 1/4 mile west of the Wissahickon Creek, stood the "Roxborough Oil Mill", last conducted by Robert Haley as a dye works. The mill was built by Nathan Levering about the year 1800 and, in the year 1811, was operated by James Thoburn.Collection
