The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 5 -The Wissahickon
Page 143 contains a photograph with a typed label which reads: "Rapids Near Site of Pipe Bridge, 1908". The photograph shows the Wissahickon Creek as it bends around a natural curve and flows into the foreground at the bottom of the photograph. Due to the rocky nature of the creek bed and banks, the water forms into rapids as it flows past the location photographed. Trees and vegetation line both banks of the creek.Collection
