The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 7 -The Wissahickon
Page 36 contains a color photograph with a printed inscription at the top: "Autumn at Valley Green, Wissahickon Creek, Philadelphia". This postcard photograph shows the Wissahickon Creek in the foreground with both banks lined with a canopy of trees. Due to the coloration and uncertain clarity and the possibility of over/under exposure of the original photograph, the lower foreground appears "muddled" and "unnatural". In any event, the variation in color of the trees verifies the Autumn Season.Collection
