The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 7 -The Wissahickon
Page 41 contains a photograph with a typed caption that reads: "On Springfield Avenue Bridge, 1905. (Charles Brooker on bridge)." The photograph shows a man (identified as Charles Brooker) standing on the Springfield Avenue Bridge peering over the stone wall of the bridge looking down onto the Wissahickon Creek. The stone wall extends the width of the photograph and is capped with stones placed in an "upright" position. A large stone plaque is placed to the right of the man at the base of the wall. Any inscription on the plaque is impossible to read. Beyond the bridge wall, a canopy of trees predominates the photograph.Collection
