Page 72 contains:
(a, all of column ine and the top half of column two) This newspapaer clipping is entitled: Valley Green One of Few Surviving American Inns; Quaint Wayside Resort". An ink notatino identified the date as March 31, 1937. The unknown author describes a visit to the Valley Green Inn and describes and briefly describes the atmosphere, history and furnishings found there.
(b, bottom half of column two and column three) This newspaper clipping is entitled: "Valley Green Inn Newly Renovated". The author is also unknown and a notation marks the date as 1-30-1937. The author reports that The Friends of the Wissahickon have taken over management of the Valley Green inn and that the Park Commission has renovated the building. The article also mentions the involvement of The Friends of the Wissahickon in the Harper Meadow ProjectCollection
