(a, top) This photograph has a typed caption which reads: "Rex Avenue Bridge From East Side of the Creek." The photograph shows the twin ached stone bridge which spans the Wissahickon at Rex Avenue. The right arch is partially obscured by shade and tree branches protruding from the shoreline.
(b, bottom) This photograph also has a typed caption which reads: "Rex Avenue Bridge From East Side of the Creek, 1897." This view shows the bridge with the twin arches in the distance. The Wissahickon and both creek banks are snow covered. The scene is "filtered" through tree branches and offers a view of a "Winter Wonderland".Collection
