The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 7 -The Wissahickon
Page 153 contains the following:
(a, top) This photograph of the Indian Rock Hotel (similar to the photograph in this volume found on scrapbook page 149) has a Jellett notation attributing the photograph to H. F. McCann(?) and the date of 216-1905.
(b, bottom) This photograph has Jellett notations with a caption of "Reuben Sands Indian Rock Hotel". Jellett also attributes the photograph to H. F. McCann(?) and the date as 2-16-1905. This photograph shows the path leading to the grounds of the Indian Rock Hotel. On the right, the stone façade of a structure is visible. A small stone projection rises above the front façade and is topped with a "peaked" cupola? To the left in the photograph (directly across the path from the mentioned structure) can be seen a small structure with a roof overhang (possibly providing shelter for horses and carriages). Proceeding along the path, the hotel itself can be seen on the left.Collection
