Page 69 contains the following:
(a, top) This photograph has a typed caption that reads: "Remains of Revolutionary Redoubt near Ft. Washington, 1905." The scene in the photograph is mostly "pastoral", with wildflowers growing in the foreground and a tree line seen in the background. There are no "visible" signs of any Revolutionary-era activities, buildings, fortifications.
(b, bottom) A small reproduction of a drawing with the caption "Washington's Head-Quarters at Whitemarsh". The view would be that of the Emlen House (1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Ft. Washington) where Washington maintained his Headquarters from November to December, 1777 as a guest of the Emlen family. Two outbuildings can be seen in the foreground, with the house visible in the background.Collection
