Page 80 contains a photograph with a typed caption which reads: "Conrad's Augur Mill, on Sandy Run, Ft. Washington. 1905." The photograph shows a three story stone structure with many windows and a large "door" opening at the third floor side. Above this "door" opening is a small triangular roof extension, most likely housing a block and tackle to lift supplies from ground level to the attic of the building. This mill is captioned as an auger (correct spelling) mill, likely manufacturing augers - tools used to remove unwanted wood from a timber mortise.Collection
