The Edwin C. Jellett Series of Scrapbooks, Volume 9 -The Wissahickon
Page 159 contains a photograph. Underneath the photograph, in Jellett's handwriting, is the following: "Mumbower's Mill, Gwynedd Pa. (not able to be deciphered). 9-23-1905." The photograph shows the mill building in the left background, partially obscured by trees. To the right of the mill building is a twin arch stone bridge which likely carries a road over the Wissahickon. A pooling of water can be seen in the foreground. Whether this water is part of the Wissahickon cannot be determined. The mill is a multi-story stone building. It is at least partially surrounded by a wooden fence. Trees abound throughout the photograph background.Collection
