The Germantown Historical Society wishes to acknowledge a debt of gratitude to the late Edwin Costley Jellett (1860-1929) for his tireless efforts in researching information about the Wissahickon creek and valley, and compiling that information into a series of nine scrapbooks.
The Germantown Historical Society also wishes to acknowledge a debt of gratitude to the late John McArthur Harris who transcribed eight of the nine volumes of Jellett's scrapbook on the Wissahickon. This transcription is found on the Library stacks (Stack 4, bottom shelf closest to window) following the Index and the entire nine scrapbook volumes. It can be identified by a red cover. A second copy of this transcription can be found in the Library stacks at L-14, 8.9, copy 2 (2104.28.1278). That object ID number is found in the Library collection.Collection
