Page 191 contains the following:
(a, top) This photograph has a typed caption that reads: "'Blue Rock', near Lansdale." The photograph shows water cascading over a dam. A man can be seen sitting in a boat atop the dam. To the left (atop the dam) can be seen a small square structure with a peaked roof. At he base of the dam can be seen several large wooden "planks" which appear to be supporting the dam wall. A raised portion of dry land is centered in the middle of the creek in the center of the photograph.
(b, bottom) This photograph has a typed caption that reads: "'Blue Rock', near Lansdale, 1908." This photograph shows a view atop the dam shown in the previous photograph (2013.34.9.191a). The small square structure with the peaked roof can be seen situated on a tiny island in the creek with a wooden footbridge connecting it to the creek bank. A figure (male or female?) can be seen near the structure sitting on a tree trunk. Trees and foliage predominate in the background and no view of water cascading over the dam is visible.Collection
