Page 99 contains an illustrated drawing of the proposed Rittenhouse Circle at the Rittenhouse Street entrance to Fairmount Park. The typed label at the bottom reads "Never Completed". The caption at the bottom of the illustrated drawing reads: "Plans for the beautifying of the Rittenhouse street entrance to Fairmount Park, to include a handsome statue of David Rittenhouse, at the intersection of Rittenhouse street and Wissahickon avenue, have been completed. A decorative circle with a safety zone in the centre, 50 feet in diameter, and the bronze statue mounted on a pedestal, is called for in the plans, as reproduced above.Collection
