(A) Red moroccan leather covered wood case with iron hook and eye closure and brass hinges. Inside is: (B) Blown glass thermometer with mercury in end ball. Numbers on ivory surround. Case interior is lined with blue silk and padded cotton.
Marks: 1948 Cut glass (crystal) thermometer. I do not know how old this thermometer is, but it has been in my family for many years. I have never seen one like it anywhere.
